The role
This independent agency specializes in creating impactful publications through engaging, accurate scientific content and delivering it through a variety of communication channels for maximum reach and impact.
Due to continued success, the agency is hiring an experienced medical writer to contribute across a range of therapy areas and accounts. Integral to the delivery of high-quality publications, you’ll collaborate with in-house design and digital teams, guiding the development of innovative enhanced content for global pharmaceutical clients.
Whether you grab a desk at any of the UK-wide office locations or enjoy full home-working flexibility, your daily responsibilities will include:
- Developing scientifically accurate, captivating content aligned with client objectives
- Maintaining regular client communication, as well as building good relationships with leading clinicians globally
- Contributing to innovative ideas within the publications field
- Supporting colleagues, including effective briefing and reviewing
- Taking a proactive attitude to effectively deliver projects to the highest standard, working closely with colleagues to agreed timelines and budgets
The person
You’ll be an experienced medical writer at a healthcare communications agency, ready for the next step in your career. Taking pride in delivering the highest -quality scientific content, you’ll be a first-class communicator who thrives working on innovative medical publications projects.
You’ll also have:
- 2+ years experience in a healthcare communications agency
- A background in biomedical science (PhD or MSc preferred)
- A collaborative approach to working on both local and international projects
- Great attention to detail, with a passion for technical accuracy
- Confidence when adhering to the latest publications compliance requirements
