Ambit is working exclusively with a leading life-sciences PR and marketing agency looking for an accomplished account manager to join their diverse team. If you’re commercially competent with a love for life sciences, let’s chat.


The role

This international agency has an impressive client portfolio, ranging from up-and-coming SMEs to large pharma, biotech, CDMO and CRO companies. Through a combination of life-sciences expertise and marketing flair, their recognized success has led to considerable growth over the past few years. As a result, they’re hiring for an experienced account manager to oversee a variety of projects across marketing communications, PR, brand and content strategy, digital marketing and website development.

Their flexible work environment means you’re free to work remotely from anywhere in the UK or join their vibrant teams in their Newcastle or Manchester offices.

You’ll also get the chance to:

  • Manage multiple accounts and deliver an excellent client experience
  • Provide strategic and commercial insights that are aligned with client goals
  • Identify new and creative ways to develop your client accounts
  • Contribute to pitch development and delivery alongside the wider team
  • Oversee project management and financial forecasting for multiple accounts


The person

You could be an experienced marketeer focussing on B2B strategy, or perhaps you're an ambitious account manager looking to take that next step in your career with a specialist B2B agency. Whatever your position, you’ll have a passion for working with B2B clients and the drive to develop your career in the pharma and biotech space.

You’ll also have:

  • 2+ years’ experience within account management in a B2B agency, or 4+ years in a B2B marketing position (in-house or agency)
  • A proven track-record managing and developing multiple client accounts
  • Good working knowledge of brand strategy and integrated marketing channels
  • Experience in the life sciences sector is desirable, but not essential
