Versatile designer with a can-do attitude? Ambit is working exclusively with a rapidly growing life sciences PR and marketing agency seeking an enthusiastic midweight designer who can bring big ideas and creative solutions to their thriving team.


The role

You’ll be an integral part of the design team, creating compelling work that illustrates our clients’ goals. Picture getting stuck into a broad range of design briefs, from brand identity and brand deployment to 360-degree marketing campaigns. You’ll bring fresh ideas to the table in response to design briefs, working closely with colleagues in the design team to collaborate on the strategy, implementation and deployment of projects.

Daily elements of the role will also include:

  • Generating creative work with strong concepts in response to client briefs
  • Collaboration with the wider team of designers to meet agency and client objectives
  • Understanding client business goals to address briefs for complex projects
  • Presenting work for pitches, projects and workshops
  • Align with the highest quality standards to ensure flawless work ready for publication
  • Excellent time management and workload prioritization to meet project deadlines
  • Keep up to date with relevant design trends and share ideas with the wider team


The person

You’ll be an accomplished designer with a positive attitude, approaching your work with professionalism and integrity. Your passion for your craft means you’ll be eager to continually learn and improve your skills. Resilient and open to change, you will embrace a fast-paced global environment and get a kick out of delivering outstanding results to clients.

Your skills will include:

  • Relevant training and 3–5 years of experience in design, demonstrated by a high‑quality portfolio of previous work
  • Experience with Adobe products including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and XD
  • The ability to explain and discuss concepts and designs
  • Understanding and experience of working with clients while managing expectations
